Weiner Charged with Expanding Foreign Exchange Payment and Electronic Commerce Opportunities for Sonnet

Eric J. Weiner appointed as Vice President, Business Development. Weiner, formerly an executive with The Vantive Corporation, will drive Sonnet’s new business activities, including its continued pursuit of strategic partnerships with leading players in the treasury automation and electronic commerce fields. An additional focus will be on the development of third party distribution relationships in the US and overseas. Weiner brings to Sonnet Financial more than 13 years of experience in both the domestic and overseas marketplaces. Prior to joining Sonnet, he served The Vantive Corporation as Vice President of International Distribution, helping it grow from a startup to a 600+ person multinational company with 1997 revenues of $117 million. Weiner has also held product management and sales positions at Natural Language Inc. and IntelliCorp.
