Veteran EDS Electronic Business Leader Named President of E.solutions
John W. McCain has been promoted to president of the company’s E.solutions unit, succeeding Gary B. Moore as head of the $2 billion, 20,000-employee electronic business team. McCain is currently head of the E.solutions unit’s consulting practice, a 5,000 member segment of E.solutions that serves to bridge the high-value consulting services of A.T. Kearney and the global delivery capabilities of EDS. McCain officially will begin his new position August 1, when Moore leaves EDS to become chief executive officer of Enterprise Networking Systems in Redwood City, California.
