George Stamas Appointed Vice-Chairman of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown
George Stamas has been appointed Vice-Chairman of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and as Managing Director and Head of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Global Investment Banking. Prior to this appointment, Stamas was a partner at the law firm Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering and Co-Chairman of their Corporate Department. Stamas is also a Director of Luminant Worldwide, Aether Systems, FTI Consulting, the Washington Capitals and the Baltimore Orioles. He has been named to the annual ‘Best Lawyers in America’ for the past seven years.
