SimCorp Use Lego to Build Up Their Board

Torben Ballegaard Sørensen, Executive Vice President of the LEGO Group, was elected to SimCorp’s Board of Directors, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of software and consultancy to the financial sector. Mr. Sørensen, 48 and a Bachelor of Commerce, has comprehensive international business experience. As a member of LEGO’s executive management team, with responsibility for New Business Development, Mr. Sørensen’s has led LEGO’s global development, including the recent launch of the LEGO MINDSTORMS’ line, and currently he is directing the build-up of LEGO’s Internet activities, based in New York. Before joining LEGO in 1996, Mr. Sørensen was the managing director of the Danish IT-company CCI-Europe, a supplier of advanced systems to leading newspapers and graphics companies.
