alterna Completes CAD $30 Million Private Equity Financing
alterna Technologies Group Inc., provider of Internet-based liquidity, cash and treasury management solutions, announced it has completed a private placement of CAD $30 million to support its plans for growth. The financing was led by the Ontario Municipal Employee Retirement System (OMERS), as well as, an additional equity participation from Whitecastle Investments Limited. The financing also included a Canadian and an international bank, as well as, Cargill, Inc.
