Barclays Wins Bull E-Business Award
Barclays won the E-Business Team/Initiative of the Year Award for its development of three systems: XTAS, CB Webinfo and CP Webtrade. The XTAS system allows users to deal directly on international futures exchanges by giving them their own order entry capability, whilst FCAS, an internet-based futures operations system, provides intra-day reconciliation and several other clearing service enhancing features. CB Webinfo permits investors to view online research on convertible bonds, market commentary, indicative prices and prospectuses. It also combines these features with a convertible bond database, a model interface, chat facility and online trading capability.
