patsystems plc, the developer and provider of electronic trading systems, and Pronet Analytics Limited (PAL), specialists in innovative analytic techniques for the professional market-place announced they have formed a partnership, enabling users of patsystems to benefit from a streaming market information, intelligence and analysis service via the Internet. The open architecture of the patsystems trading systems, enables complementary software to be easily added enabling its users greater flexibility and customisation. In this instance, patsystems are creating links to Pronet Analytics’ website on all front end products including PTS, J-Trader and MEL (Multi-Exchange Legger). Pronet Analytics is a financial application service provider (‘ASP’) which delivers proprietary content, by way of the Internet, for visual and intuitive analysis of global, liquid markets. Currently targeted at the professional/institutional market, the Pronet System provides a single, uniform and simple framework within which to compare and evaluate spot FX as well as interest rate and other exchange-traded derivatives. PAL has been providing these real-time decision support services to blue chip banking clients, such as HSBC, Bank of America, CSFB, Bank Austria, Natwest and Hypobank since mid 1998.
