MKI Appoints New Marketing Director

Midas-Kapiti International (MKI), a subsidiary of Misys plc, has appointed Gilles Acogny to the post of Marketing Director with effect from 1st June. Gilles, who is fluent in six languages, including French, German and Spanish, has lived and worked on three continents during his previous employment. He is exceptionally well qualified for his new role at MKI, having formerly held the position of Marketing Director at Xerox Europe Limited. Prior to this, Gilles was Marketing Director and General Manager for Xerox’ Office Document Products division based in Germany. This posting was preceded by three years as Managing Director of Xerox Egypt Limited, when he was based in Cairo from 1995 to 1997. Gilles has spent 15 years with the Xerox Corporation in total, undertaking a variety of different roles in France, the U.K. and the U.S.A., as well as Germany and Egypt. Before starting his career with Xerox Corporation, Gilles studied in Paris, gaining an MA in English & American Literature and Civilisation from the Sorbonne, before graduating in Political Science, Management, Statistics and Economics from Lehigh University in the U.S.A.
