Rodney Baker-Bates Appointed Chairman of Burns e-Commerce Solutions
Burns e-Commerce Solutions announced the appointment of Rodney Baker-Bates, former chief executive, Prudential Financial Services, as its chairman with effect from 28 January. Baker-Bates spent three years at Prudential plc where he was responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategy in the financial services market including Direct to Consumer and employer-sponsored pension saving schemes. Prior to this he spent five years at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as director of finance and information technology. From1984-1993, he was with Midland Bank in various roles including managing director UK Banking.
