Mark Breheny to Join Freehills in Melbourne

Mr Breheny specialises in structured/asset-based finance and project finance and has been involved in a number of large project and structured finance deals, including recently advising National Express on the financing of new rolling stock for its three rail franchises in Victoria. Mr Breheny also acted for ANZ and Bank of America in the financing of Australian Railroad Group’s successful bid for Westrail Freight. His main clients include ANZ and Macquarie Bank. Mr Breheny comes to Freehills after 18 years as partner at Blake Dawson Waldron. Freehills has also relocated partner Stephen Skinner to the Sydney office from Ho Chi Minh City.
