JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management Rated 'Aa+'
Fitch-AMR, a subsidiary of Fitch Ratings, the international rating agency, has assigned an Intrinsic Rating of ‘aa+’ to the London operations of JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management. This rating is the second highest on the Fitch-AMR rating scale and indicates an ‘excellent level of quality’ in terms of security and capacity in monitoring the risks associated with the asset management business. It follows the initial ratings of ‘aaa’ and ‘aa’ first attributed to J.P. Morgan Investment Management and Fleming Asset Management in October and September 2000 respectively and placed under Rating Watch since the merger between the two entities in January 2001.
