Citibank and SunGard to Provide STP through eTreasury eXchange

Citibank has agreed to become the first bank to provide its cash and treasury management services through eTreasury eXchange (eTX) to SunGard customers globally. The agreement means Citibank will be able to provide ‘seamless access’ to its cash and treasury management services to large corporations’ domestic and global treasury functions. The first mutual customer to benefit from this offering is described as ‘a premier logistic services company’. Simon Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Citibank e-Business, said. ‘Delivering the bank’s services through the SunGard treasury solution supports our strategy of providing real-time connectivity and straight through processing to our clients – optimizing operations and enhancing decision-making.’
