New Head of European CMBS and UK/ Irish Asset Securitisation at ABN AMRO
ABN AMRO has moved to build its presence in the European Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) market with the appointment of David Newby in a dual position as Head of European CMBS and Head of UK & Irish Asset Securitisation, both new roles. Newby joins from UBS Warburg in London where he was a Director of Asset Backed Finance since 1994. He has led high-profile transactions for a wide range of issuers including British Land, Bradford & Bingley, NPI and Bank of Ireland. Nehal Farooqui has also been recruited from Royal Bank of Scotland and both will report to Mike Nawas, European Head of Asset Securitisation.
