New Treasury Learning System Launched

The Association for Financial Professionals has developed a new learning system for treasury. The continuing education program is based on the AFP’s ‘Essentials of Cash Management‘, Seventh Edition, which is used as the basis for the association’s Certified Cash Manager (CCM) credential program. The text and Web-based course aims to teach teach the essential principles and functional practices of corporate treasury management, the AFP said. ‘In today’s changing environment, financial professionals are rushing to stay on top of the most current advances in treasury, and to do more in less time, with the same amount of resources,’ said AFP’s President and CEO Jim Kaitz. The self-paced curriculum covers the 16 content areas from Essentials in seven modules plus interactive, computer-based testing components. The program allows the user to study at their own pace, focusing on areas needing improvement and recording learning gains as progress is made. A certificate of completion is awarded once the course is completed with at least a 70 percent pass rate.
