FX Concepts Expands its Operations in Australia and New Zealand

Currency manager FX Concepts has expanded its operations in Australia and New Zealand by linking up with Australia’s Sovereign Investment Research. The Melbourne-headquartered firm will provide extensive marketing and client focused research support to FX Concepts’ operations. To achieve this, Sovereign’s principals, Ray King, Chris Bain and Ross Barry, will assist in the expansion of FX Concepts’ Australian and New Zealand operations. Ray King will become a Director of FX Concepts. He will be the primary contact in the new Melbourne office and will be charged with general oversight of all operations in Australia and New Zealand. Chris Bain brings his 20 years of experience in the Australian investment management industry to expand FX Concepts’ market share. Ross Barry, currently completing his Ph. D. in Finance at Macquarie University, will assist current and prospective clients in understanding the impact of currency on their portfolios and structuring appropriate strategies.
