HVB Unit Selects AFA Risk Management Solution

Vereins- und Westbank, part of the HypoVereinsbank Group, has recently implemented two positions of AFA Systems’ DART + Exotics for its trading and risk management desks. DART+Exotics is an element of AFA’s DART derivatives product suite. Vereins- und Westbank is using DART+Exotics to replace existing tools, which offer limited flexibility, and to help overcome current user input issues. Thomas Busch, Treasury Director of Vereins- und Westbank said, ‘We selected the DART software as a result of its rapid calculation speed which facilitates faster response times to customer enquiries. This increased speed of response enables our traders to work on a broader range of instruments thus delivering improved trading desk performance and profitability.’
