Macdonald Hotels Automates Exception Processing with intelliMATCH EP
UK hotel group Macdonald Hotels has selected SunGard eProcess Intelligence’s intelliMATCH EP for automated reconciliation and exception processing within its cash and banking area. The group is looking to automate its reconciliation and exception processing of bank statements, receipts and payments, suspense accounts, and payroll, as current processes provide only limited matching functionality and occupy a substantial number of resources. The group will implement intelliMATCH EP in its shared services center in Bathgate, near Edinburgh and will share information out to 93 hotels throughout the UK via the Internet using intelliMATCH EP Web. Control of accounts will take place in Bathgate with individual hotels advising and investigating the status of exceptions via the Web. intelliMATCH EP Web will ensure that each of the hotel group’s 120 users and 93 sites have the information they require in real-time, enabling the hotel to reconcile 24/7.
