alterna Appoints New CEO

Paul Tatro has been appointed chief executive officer at alterna and will take responsibility for all aspects of business operations at liquidity solutions vendor. Tatro moves from business solutions provider divine Inc, where he was President of International Operations. Prior to divine, Tatro was Executive Vice President of International Operations for PLATINUM technology International, inc., which was acquired by Computer Associates in 1999 for US$3.6 Billion. ‘Having someone like Paul to rapidly establish a world-wide presence is very important at this point in alterna’s evolution, as our technology has now evolved into the leading platform in the financial supply-chain management marketplace,’ said Gonzalo Naranjo, President and Chairman of alterna. ‘alterna clearly has developed the right solution at a time when global organizations are looking for ways to efficiently optimize and maximize their working capital resources’, said Tatro.
