Former ABN AMRO Chief to Lead Marketing Team at CLS Bank

Jonathan Butterfield has joined CLS Bank as Executive Vice President, Marketing and Communication. Based in New York, and reporting to CLS Bank President and CEO Joseph De Feo, Butterfield will be responsible for CLS Group’s marketing, brand, communication and product strategies. He will also manage the relationship management, product management and communication functions. Butterfield was most recently Managing Director, Financial Institutions and Public Sector Division, within the Global Transaction Services of ABN Amro Bank NV. Prior to this, he served as Head of Marketing, Sales and Service in the same division of the Dutch bank. Butterfield has held senior positions within Chase Manhattan Banking Corporation and has over 20 years financial services experience from his days with Chemical Banking Corporation. Since its launch in September 2002, CLS Bank has settled more than $USD 30 trillion of FX transactions.
