XRT to Support CIGNA Treasury Integration Project

CIGNA Corporation, the publicly-owned employee benefits organization, is to use XRT’s Enterprise Suite Solution as part of its effort to integrate treasury activities between the firm’s locations around the U.S.. Implementation of XRT Enterprise Suite will replace CIGNA’s existing treasury workstation and facilitate a ‘self service model’ for their internal treasury customers. The project will commence in the U.S. with a potential roll out to additional treasury centers around the globe. The overall goal of the project is to create what is known as a ‘self service model’ where each CIGNA field office will be able to operate as an extension of central treasury without compromising the security and control of financial flows throughout the organization. XRT Solution will facilitate the remote online input and approval of EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) requests creating a straight-through process between CIGNA, its banks, the new treasury management system and its corporate general ledger. Additionally, the new environment will provide an online view of acknowledgments, and transaction reference numbers along with views of account balances and activity.
