Patsystems Strengthens Commitment To Customer Support

Patsystems, the electronic trading software company, has appointed Andy Edwards as director of Customer Operations. His remit will include customer relationship management, production, current service development, and front-line customer support. The appointment is a key part of a programme to restructure Patsystems’ business and strengthen its management team. The process is primarily focusing on two areas: enhancing the company’s trading platform and improving the quality, consistency and continuity of customer operations. Commenting, Kevin Ashby, chief executive, said: ‘Patsystems has achieved a great deal in the last few months in terms of the return of capital to shareholders and reduced operating costs. We have already implemented a number of internal improvements and many more will follow throughout 2003 and beyond. Improving customer care is fundamental to Patsystems’ strategy. This focus has led us to centralise our support function in London, backed by local service management out of our regional offices.’
