RBS Bolsters Asian Securitisation Team

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Financial Markets has appointed John Mullins to head its securitisation business in Asia. John joins RBS from ING, where he headed ING’s Asia Securitisation Group. Prior to working for ING, John worked for Daiwa Securities in New York and Tokyo. John is being joined by Hidehiro Katsumata and Richard Lamb, both of whom were also formerly with ING’s Asia Securitisation Group and have extensive experience of the Japanese and Asian securitisation markets. Commenting on the appointments, Symon Drake-Brockman, Global Head of Capital Markets, said: ‘The establishment of the securitisation business represents a significant extension of our global securitisation business and our presence in Asia.’
