A new trading and risk management suite has been announced by SunGard Trading and Risk Systems. SunGard Adaptiv is available on a single technology framework, designed to enable buy- and sell-side institutions to implement technology ‘tailored to their specific needs using a modular, building block approach’. SunGard said the solution can be configured to provide real-time, straight-through trading, portfolio analysis, desk- level risk management and processing, as well as enterprise-wide credit and market risk management. Adaptiv adds new features to existing functionality from several SunGard trading and risk management solutions. The vendor added that Adaptiv’s new architecture provides portfolio analytics, risk management and real-time global limits via a single Web-based user interface.
