SingTel Selects SunGard's AvantGard Solutions
Singapore-based telecommunications group SingTel has selected AvantGard-Quantum and AvantGard-Risk for management of its group treasury operations. AvantGard will be implemented at SingTel’s Singapore operations and in Australia, through the SingTel subsidiary SingTel Optus. AvantGard will help the SingTel Group to manage its cash position, providing a comprehensive view of positions, flexible forecasting and the ability to integrate all cash exposures into a common view, said SunGard. AvantGard will also facilitate the management and reporting of the Group’s financial risk, including liquidity, interest rate movements, FX movements and credit risk.
