Virgin Atlantic Selects SunGard Treasury Solutions
Virgin Atlantic has chosen SunGard’s AvantGard-Quantum and AvantGard-Risk systems for its group treasury function. Commenting on the selection, Alex Harris, group treasurer of Virgin Atlantic, said: ‘We have a fundamental need to know our true liquidity position at any point in time and the key data that will enable us to effectively manage our market, credit and operational risk.’ AvantGard-Quantum and AvantGard-Risk will provide an integrated solution for liquidity and risk management and increase automation, according to SunGard.
