City Financials Attracts Three High-profile Clients to eTC

Three new clients have signed up to use City Financials’ eTC treasury management system, the company announced. The British Land Company plc, one of the oldest publicly listed property groups in the UK are replacing their current treasury management system in favour of eTC because of the product’s integrated accounting and data manipulation techniques, particularly in relation to the processing and analysis of complex joint venture structures. An important part of their selection procedure was IAS39 and FRS4 accounting compliance. 2Entertain, a new joint venture company established by UK retail group Woolworths and BBC Worldwide, has installed eTC and unusually will start operating with a fully functional treasury system already in place. Time Warner has licensed eTC with treasury users in New York and London using functionality including cash management, treasury dealing and integrated accounting. Additionally users throughout the rest of the organisation will access eTC via a browser for cash management, forecasting and in-house banking requirements. ‘We are pleased to announce these new clients have licensed eTC over the summer months, continuing the strong growth in the size and diversity of our corporate user base,’ said City Financials’ MD, Steve Whalley.
