Malaysian Banking Group to Install CCK's Treasury Management Suite

Southern Bank Berhad, one of Malaysia’s ten largest banks, is to implement CCK Financial Solutions’ treasury management system, Guava Suite. It will be installed in the Southern Bank Group, consisting of Southern Bank in Malaysia, Southern Bank in Singapore, Southern Investment Bank and Southern Finance. The Southern Bank Group will be using Guava Suite to handle treasury functions, including money market, securities trading, foreign exchange and derivatives, for dealing, risk management and settlement, accounting and central bank reporting functions. Guava will also cover Southern Investment Bank’s corporate banking, custodian and syndication requirements. Mr Joseph Wong, Managing Director at CCK, said: ‘The implementation will cover four sites, with centralised processing. Remote sites will be utilising Guava Suite’s web enabled facilities.’
