Burns Appointed at Bottomline Technologies

Bottomline Technologies has appointed Matthew Burns to the position of WebSeries Strategic Relationship Manager for Europe. In his new role, Burns will be responsible for overseeing business development and promotional initiatives for WebSeries, the company’s Web-based payment lifecycle management platform, throughout the existing European customer base. Organisations across many industries are deploying WebSeries to automate manual payment and invoice processes to reduce the potential for manual mistakes and consolidate multiple payment systems. Nigel Savory, Managing Director of Bottomline Solutions, said: “With Matthew’s appointment we will be able to strengthen long-term customer relationships, and increase the footprint of Bottomline solutions within top-tier Pan European and Global accounts.” Burns joins Bottomline from Alterna Europe Ltd. now part of Trema, where he served as European Sales Manager.
