Bank Leumi Selects Wall Street Systems

Wall Street Systems has announced that Bank Leumi, one of Israel’s largest banks, is implementing the Wall Street System treasury and capital markets solution. Rivka Carmi, spokesperson and PR department manager, Bank Leumi, said: “In upgrading our dealing room platform, we sought a solution which would strengthen our competitive advantages. Our criteria included a state of the art, 100 per cent straight through processing system, supporting the full range of sophisticated instruments with a high degree of efficiency. Upon completion of the project we expect to benefit from the ability to further expand our business in this strategic area, as well as significant cost savings and increased operational efficiency.” Mike Thrower, director of marketing, Wall Street Systems, said: “We are working closely with Bank Leumi – our first client in Israel – to deliver a number of local market enhancements to the Wall Street System. This makes our system even stronger – especially in the area of FX options. This is a particularly significant project for Wall Street Systems.”
