CheckFree Acquires Accurate Software to Extend Global Software Presence
Accurate Software, a UK-based provider of reconciliation, exception management, workflow and business intelligence solutions has been acquired by CheckFree and it will become part of the company’s Software Division. The acquisition is aimed at expanding the CheckFree’s global presence and client base, and drive product development in operational risk management solutions for banks, securities firms and corporations. CheckFree purchased all of the outstanding shares of Accurate for approximately $56m in cash, subject to certain post-closing adjustments. The acquisition was completed on 30 April 2005.
