Increased Frequency for TFP IBAN Data

TFP has announced the change in delivery frequency of the Thomson IBAN File to twice per month. The Thomson IBAN File is an electronic information file that matches an international bank account number (IBAN) with a particular institution or bank office – enabling the identification of where an account is held in cross-border transactions between European countries. “TFP designed this data file to meet payment STP requirements for Swift’s MT103+ messaging standards,” said Robert McKay, managing director, TFP. “Delivering this information more often will further help originators of euro-based payments improve operational efficiency.”
