City Financials System Chosen by Vodafone

Vodafone has licensed eTC from City Financials for its global treasury operations. The system will be used at Vodafone’s treasury headquarters in Newbury to manage the group’s treasury transactions, liquidity position, accounting and IAS 39 reporting. Commenting on the announcement, Ian Locke senior assistant treasurer at Vodafone said “eTC from City Financials will enable Vodafone to manage transactions from initial identification through authorisation, dealing, confirmation, settlement, accounting and reporting with minimal intervention and to achieve this in a flexible yet structured system whilst enabling established treasury controls to be clearly mapped to treasury activities.”
