Outsource Partners International Expands Global BPO Outsourcing Capabilities

Outsource Partners International (OPI) has opened a new business process outsourcing (BPO) service centre in Kochi, India. While a preliminary facility has been launched with a capacity of 64 seats, work on building a state-of-the art service centre to accommodate 2,000 associates is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2006. Currently, OPI’s service centre in Bangalore, India has the capacity to accommodate more than 600 associates. The new highly secure centre, to be located in the TechPark at Kakkanad, Kochi, will be equipped with advanced technology and linked directly to OPI’s data centres in the US. “The new facility in Kochi will further expand our global capability, enabling us to meet the growing demand for our services from existing, as well as new clients,” said Kishore Mirchandani, president and the chief executive officer of Outsource Partners’ Indian subsidiary, Business Process Outsourcing.
