HSBC Joins AvantGard-ETX Network

HSBC Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets (CIBM) has announced it will join SunGard’s AvantGard e-Treasury eXchange network. This alliance will provide HSBC customers who use SunGard’s treasury workstation software with a window to the bank’s global payments and cash management solutions for real time and batch payment execution, as well as account balance information and transaction reporting. The AvantGard-ETX capability should help users achieve higher levels of straight through processing for their payment transactions and associated financial reporting. The automated integration of financial reports into a customers’ cash position will provide accurate and timely information to treasurers, helping them better optimise their cash positions.
