TNS Acquires Payment Terminal Logistics Provider

Transaction Network Services’ (TNS) has acquired Process Logistics, a specialist payment terminal logistics company, to broaden its offering to banks and retailers. This acquisition is the first part of TNS’ growth strategy, the company said. Process Logistics takes the headache out of managing the installation and maintenance of payment terminals at the retailer’s point of sale. With the birth of Chip & PIN, there are an estimated 700,000 plus terminals across the UK, largely owned and managed by the banking community. “The acquisition of Process Logistics is a key part of our growth strategy as we look to further develop our solutions portfolio and expand our customer base,” explains Ray Low, managing director, TNS (UK).
