Caribbean Banking Network Selects TEMENOS T24

The Caribbean-owned financial services provider RBTT Financial Group has selected TEMENOS T24 to replace its legacy core banking systems. RBTT signed in Q2 2005 and will implement the system in all 80 branches in 12 Caribbean jurisdictions. The RBTT Financial Group owns ten licensed commercial banks with branches located in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, Curaçao and Bonaire, St. Marten and Saba, Aruba, Suriname, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Bequia in the Grenadines, Antigua and Nevis. The group also includes the leading merchant bank in Trinidad and Tobago with a regional office in Costa Rica, a trust and asset management company, an international financial institution and a stock broking company. Jerome Sooklal, Group Chief Executive Officer, RBTT, said: “To differentiate from the competition, RBTT should lead the way in improving the level of service in the banking sector. As a first step, we will begin upgrading our technology throughout the region to enhance service delivery to our clients. which augurs well for the partnership going forward.”
