RBS Appointed Book Runner for First Ever 50 Year Inflation Linked Bond
RBS has been appointed book runner on the UK Debt Management Office’s inaugural syndicated issue of the new 50-year index linked bond. The UK Debt Management Office has today named four joint book-runners for its 2055 Index-Linked Syndication. The book runners are Barclays Capital, Morgan Stanley, RBS and UBS. “With the inaugural syndicated issue of the new 50 year index linked bond, the UK real yield curve will gain an additional reference point at the long end of the curve. This will make it of particular interest to many investors, including many pension funds for whom this represents a unique hedge to their long dated liabilities,” said Ian Gaskell, Global Head of Rates.
