SEB Företagsinvest Invests €3m in SP Devices

SEB Företagsinvest, the venture capital arm of the SEB Group, has invested €3m in SP Devices, a company that operates in signal processing. The proceeds will be used to scale sales and marketing activities and to enhance further product development, says the company. SP Devices develops and market signal processing electronics and algorithms. The main product is the interleaving IP-core for digital post processing of parallel analog-to-digital-converters. An A/D converter is an electronic component that converts an analog signal to a digital signal. Customers are semiconductor companies and system manufacturers in the area of wireless infrastructure, software defined radio, medical electronics, and others. Since the start in 1995, SEB Företagsinvest has invested in 75 companies.
