GSAM Extends Platform Family to RBS
Goldman Sachs Asset Management has announced that The Royal Bank of Scotland will now feature on its Global Cash ServicesSM Portal, a multi-fund family cash management and trading platform. The Portal is able to offer access to approximately $92bn (£46.8bn) of offshore money market fund liquidity in US dollars, euros and sterling (source: iMoneyNet 02.02.07). According to GSAM, the Portal was the first multi-fund trading platform globally which allowed clients to manage all of their liquidity requirements on one single website. Institutional investors are able to trade cash funds online, receive consolidated reporting on transactions in real-time, check balances, fund performance information, interest accruals and view account histories across all fund families.
