Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank Launches Treasury Risk Solutions Offering

Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank has established a new team to provide a range of treasury risk solutions for corporates. Going forward, the bank will provide FX, interest rate and currency derivatives to business and corporate customers. The treasury risk solutions business is headed by Mike Bligh, who joined the bank nine months ago to establish the specialist team. Bligh has over 20 years’ experience of providing treasury services for businesses and joined Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank from Barclays Capital, where he held a number of roles as a director within UK treasury risk management. Part of Bligh’s new role was to recruit specialist staff for the new team and the bank has recently made two new appointments, Grant Murray as senior manager and Faye Ackerley as sales assistant.
