SmartStream Expands Asia-Pacific Operations

SmartStream Technologies has announced new investment across the Asia-Pacific region. The company’s Asia-Pacific operations, which covers Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Japan, Korea and the ASEAN countries, has experienced growth over recent years and the latest investment reflects the company’s focus on serving the newly expanded client base and recognition of the region’s continued economic growth prospects. Richard Cummings will be responsible for leading the company’s investment in the region. Cummings, who until recently has been managing SmartStream’s operations in the UK, has been appointed regional director for SmartStream in Asia-Pacific, following Stefan Wawrzyniak’s decision to retire. The company has also recently appointed a new sales director in the region, Anthony Campbell-Brown, who has previously occupied senior management roles for CheckFree, Bloomberg, Logica and Capita IT Services. SmartStream expects to announce a number of new appointments over the coming months.
