HSBC Adds to Trade and Supply Chain Regional Salesforce
HSBC has announced two new senior appointments in its regional sales team, trade and supply chain, Asia-Pacific, which it says reflect the momentum in its trade and supply chain business and the evolving needs of its clients in the region. Debbie Mak and Yen Poon have been appointed as senior regional sales managers, trade and supply chain, Asia-Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Mak and Poon will be responsible for further development of the trade and supply chain business, focusing on new business acquisition and implementing strategic business initiatives to further grow the business in the region. Mak joins HSBC from JPMorgan Hong Kong where she held a key sales position in its trade and logistics solutions division as vice president, responsible for managing the multinational corporate segment in the greater China region. She has also previously worked on treasury outsourcing, liquidity products and forfeiting. Before joining HSBC, Poon was vice president at Wachovia Hong Kong, responsible for providing trade solutions to financial institutions in the greater China region and managing a portfolio of corporate clients.
