Blackrock acquires Australian analytics software house
Blackrock is to acquire Australian analytical software house Impact Investing and parcel up its investment information dashboard as part of the Blackrock Solutions service. BlackRock Solutions offers a suite of investment tools and services designed to help fund managers understand and manage their capital markets exposures and risks. The US investment house’s Aladdin investment platform is currently used to process $7 trillion in assets on behalf of clients. Blackrock is one of six-year old Impact’s earliest clients and its technology will be integrated with the Aladdin platform to provide enhanced equity analysis and portfolio visualisation capabilities for Blackrock clients.
