New Infrastructure for POS Payments Launched by TSP (SIA-SSB GROUP)

api IP has launched its new technology infrastructure to manage payments transactions via fuel cards and the loyalty card system. The project – developed by TSP – Tecnologie e Servizi per il Pubblico, a SIA-SSB Group company specialising in systems and services for corporates and public administration – connects around 5,000 POS terminals at the 3,600 api IP service stations involved in the project. The new infrastructure will carry all the payments operations relating to CartaMaxima (the api IP fuel card designed for the corporate mobility market) and all the other fuel cards accepted on the api IP network. Additionally, this system will allow customers to earn points on their loyalty card and order gifts at all participating api and IP service stations. From today, customers can pay for fuel without the need to use cash or cash advances, thereby simplifying the paperwork while guaranteeing greater transparency and security.
