Caixa d'Estalvis del Penedès Selects SunGard's Adaptiv for Risk Management and STP

Caixa d’Estalvis del Penedès (Caixa Penedès), the Spanish savings bank, has selected SunGard’s Adaptiv 360 to help capture, process and manage all of its capital markets activity. Adaptiv 360 will help Caixa Penedès automate valuation, portfolio management, risk management and straight-through processing across all asset classes. SunGard’s Adaptiv 360 is an integrated package based upon a single platform. It provides financial institutions with access to cross-asset deal capture, real-time risk analytics, stress testing, ‘what if’ scenarios, cash flow analysis, online hedging prescriptions, straight-through processing and enterprise market and credit risk analysis. SunGard says Caixa Penedès will use Adaptiv 360’s structured products module to help manage complex structures with minimum effort and reduced time to market which will help the bank to fulfill its plans to rapidly grow its business and enter new areas.
