Pegasus Launches 'Scrap IT' Discount Scheme

Pegasus Software, a supplier of accounting and business software to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the UK and Ireland, has launched Scrap IT, an initiative for the UK market which offers businesses a 40% discount on Pegasus Opera II when they trade in their old accounting software. For a typical five user, seven module Opera II Enterprise RSP purchase this would save £3,500.

In addition, for businesses in the construction industry, Pegasus is offering a 25% trade in on competing solutions for Pegasus CIS.

Stuart Anderson, operations director, Pegasus Software said: “SMEs are facing some of the toughest market conditions in decades so the right financial software is critical to keep a tight ship. Inspired by the Government car scrappage scheme that has kick-started interest in new, more fuel-efficient cars, Pegasus is offering small- to medium-sized businesses the chance to become more cash efficient with Opera II. Opera II is not just a financial management solution. It can help improve customer relationships, cut paper waste, and deliver business intelligence.”
