Investec Launches Offshore Fixed Reserve Account

Investec Bank (Channel Islands) has announced the launch of its fixed reserve account, which it says offers a highly competitive interest rate of 3.00% AER/gross for individual investors with £50,000 or more.

Benefits of the account include a guaranteed fixed interest rate for the life of the deposit, which matures on 31 August 2010, and the flexibility of receiving interest monthly that can be paid away to a nominated account free of charge.

As Investec is a participant in the Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation Scheme, all individual private clients held in Guernsey are covered by the scheme up to a maximum of £50,000. In order to secure this interest rate, clients must deposit funds before 28 August 2009.
