Hamel Joins 3Delta Systems as VP of Platform Delivery

Card payment firm 3Delta Systems has appointed Peter Hamel to a newly created executive management position as vice president of platform delivery. Hamel will be responsible for 3Delta Systems’ technical operations, compliance, system design, maintenance and support as well as business development.

With more than 20 years in the electronic payments industry, Hamel has held a variety of senior positions with industry notables over the past 15 years. His background ranges from product strategy and development, operations and interchange management to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance, disaster recovery and business continuity. Hamel also has extensive experience with change management, strategic planning, business and project management.

Before joining 3DSI, Hamel was vice president of operations and corporate security officer for PE Systems. Previously, he held senior level product strategy and development positions with ExaDigm, NBS Technologies, Concord EFSnet (First Data Corporation), eBill and Modular Data (Global Payments).
