Textron Names Frank Connor as CFO

Frank Connor, a former Goldman, Sachs & Co corporate finance executive, has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Textron.

Connor will oversee all of the company’s financial activities and becomes a member of the Textron management committee, comprising the top seven executives of the company. Scott Donnelly, Textron’s president and chief operating officer, will continue to oversee Textron Financial Corporation, along with the rest of Textron’s operating units. Richard Yates, who had been serving as Textron’s acting CFO, will remain as Textron’s senior vice president and controller.

Connor is a 22-year veteran of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where, most recently, he was managing director and head of telecom investment banking. Prior to that, he served as Goldman, Sachs & Co’s chief operating officer of telecom, technology and media investment banking. During his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co, Connor advised companies across a wide range of industries and executed numerous public and private financings and strategic transactions.
