AFP Treasury Management Roundtable and Webinar Series Debuts
The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) has announced a new series of virtual roundtables and webinars focused on treasury management. Called The Treasury Connection, this series will focus on the timeliest and most relevant issues facing treasury professionals. Every quarter, AFP will offer a virtual roundtable restricted to corporate practitioners with a focus on a topic that has dominated AFP discussions lists or AFP staff conversations with financial professionals. Each virtual roundtable will be followed by a webinar on the same topic to round out the analysis of the topic to include the expertise of banks, consultants, or service providers.
The first virtual roundtable and webinar offering in the Treasury Connection series will focus in an arena that has been redefined over the past two years – bank relationship management.
The world of bank relationship management continues to evolve, and the looming financial regulatory overhaul has not made the task of maintaining and engaging in successful strategic partnerships any easier. Treasury Connection provides a chance to participate in an interactive corporate practitioner only roundtable discussion with professional colleagues identifying issues faced and discovering, the associated solutions in this dynamic world of bank relationship management.
AFP says that participants in the webinar will gain the relative perspectives of a seasoned treasury professional and a large multinational bank and discover their insights as to what will come as we begin to migrate to the ‘new normal’ in the arena of bank relationship management.
